We've all experienced that moment when we pick out the perfect pair of tic-tacs to go with our outfit for the day, and DAYUM! The paint on them has chipped off! Not to worry, here's a quick-fix tutorial on how to get them sparkling new in as little as under 5 minutes!    You read right, under 5 MINUTES!!!

What you'll need

- Old pair of tic-tacs
- Nail paint
- Nail file
- Acrylic sealer/ Spray-on Varnish/ Clear nail paint- top coat  (Optional)

1) Getting started:

Before you start working on the tic-tacs, make sure the surface is smooth. For this purpose, I used a nail file to rub off the remaining part of the chipped paint. Keep scrubbing the surface until all the paint is off and the surface is smooth.

Finally, dust off the remains, and if need be, wipe clean the tic-tacs. Et voila, your tic-tacs are now ready for a makeover!
Time taken: 1 min- 1 min 30 secs.

2) Paint my love:
Pick a colour that suits your taste, or one that goes with your outfit. You may alternately choose to go in for a glittery silver, gold or bronze nail paint. Now simply paint your love(ly) tic-tacs- just a coat or two. Avoid applying too many coats as it may peel off easily.

Time taken: 1 min + 1 min for drying.
3) Finishing touch:
Once the nail paint has dried, add a finish to the newly painted tic-tacs with a coat of spray-on varnish or an acrylic sealer. If you don't have either, worry not, use a top coat (clear nail paint) instead. This step is optional, but recommended, as it adds a protective layer onto the nail paint.
Time taken: 10- 20 secs. Now leave it on newspaper to dry. It shouldn't take more than a minute to dry.
My record time Step 1 in 20 secs + Step 2 in 1 min 10 secs + Step 3 in 1 min 10 secs = 2 min 40 secs!
