Valentine's Day Countdown # 2 - At the boyfriend's

Hey all,

If you're not doing a dinner or a movie date, or spending the day out together, you probably will have plans to just spend time indoors. You can't obviously dress up like a diva-off-the-red-carpet for him. What you can do, though, is pick one of these looks-

Froufrou Fun!
Colour-block in a vest and a high-waisted froufrou skirt combo. Team it up with flats to tone it down. No accessories needed, just carry an itsy bitsy cutesy sling to go.

Don't own a froufrou? Well, simply wear two or three flowy skirts of different lengths (shorter one over the longer one) on top of one another to make them look like one!

Shirt + Shorts
Pick a slightly oversized shirt, roll up the sleeves to 3/4th and tuck the shirt in. Ankle length socks and oxfords, delicate pieces like tiny studs and a wired ring, et voila!
Cut out tee + Denims
Get one or simply DIY it...takes as little as 5 minutes! Cut the neck of a grey tee into a boat and wear it such that it falls off one shoulder or make little cut-out designs all over the back. Team it up with a neon inner, preferable a haltered one. Opt for a tee that is one or two sizes bigger or one that is really loose and pair it up with skin fit denims or ones in a pencil fit.

Until next time!

Cut it!

Hello there!
The last two days have been a little hectic as I was working on a photoshoot. While I was out sourcing for the shoot, I travelled most parts of the city and found something common- a tee! What's so unique about this tee? Why do I feel it's going to be a big trend this season? Well. It's a cut-out tee and I spotted it on atleast one person per suburb. Also, it wasn't something spotted on every 4th person either. Infact, lets just say, one in every fifty wore it, which is good right? Because the fact that it's just being spotted now and still not on everyone says that it's slowly coming in. Now! What's cool about this trend? The fact that one can DIY!!!

DIY Cut-out tees can be really cool since you're the designer here and it's all in your hands. You can really let your creative juices do the magic! ;)

Until next time!
