Brunch Look: A Subtle Sunday

Yay, Sunday is almost here! It's the one day off that we all look forward to, and even more during winters when waking up is such a task. Sunday mornings, how we all just love them. Easy start to the day, breakfast is a rarity. Sundays call for brunch! And a fancy one with your friends, why not?

Today's post is in celebration of just that, the brunch! To me, brunch is synonymous with everything easy, laid back and dreamy. I'd dress up for it (if at all, because I'd really enjoy my brunch at home, in my PJs) in something chic and effortless. Think washed out pastels, pearls...everything subtle, dainty and feminine.

Fashion tips:
- If your dress has a collar, why not show it off? Take cue from what I've done here - buttoned the cardigan under the collar.
- While I've taken the common route, wearing the belt over the cardigan instead of under, adds to the silhouette, like it does here.
- ALWAYS go in for dewy makeup with such looks, opt for anything between pink and peach for your lips and cheeks (optional). Add to that a single stroke of liner or simply pep up your lashes and you're good to go!

POTD # 10 - Ballet Beauty!

Hey all!

Here's me picking out another budget buy as my pick of the day- ballet flats bought off the street. I was at the local market to run a few errands when I came across this lovely little pair shouting out to me "buy me!!!"

So here's a pic and a quote to go-

The guy has tacky footwear on sale BUT he does have a couple of pairs that are really nice and dainty. So what are you waiting for? Go grab a pair!

Shopped till I dropped!

Hello hello!

So Shopper's Stop has a sale on since a while and I finally got a chance to go make some purchase. Honestly, I came back with two bags less than what I would have. Buuut, that's only because I couldn't fit into/ carry some of the outfits too well. Ugh! I'm a pear, and evidently so :l

Getting back to the spree, I have three budget looks, two of which can pass off as work wear (pssst...even though I am wearing stretch denims).

Look 1: La belle dame

Picture this with coral wedges, a beige envelope and a statement cuff to complete the look.

Look 2: Nerdy chic

Dark pumps, a statement watch, and ofcourse, thick framed nerdy glasses would complete this look. Oh! And a satchel!

Look 3: Comfort queen!

I'd wan't to turn this look into a slightly androgenous one while it shouts comfort. Think cropped sleeveless denim shrug and flat boots that reach only the ankle. What say, you?

And byyy the way, for those who woke up late like me, the sale is still on. Only, tomorrow i.e. Sunday, is the last day. Those of you enjoying a lazy one, why not shop virtually! ;)
