POTD #20: His Sweater + Your Boots = Winter Chic!

A lot of girls I know LOVE to donne a borrowed-from-the-boys look. In fact, like I mentioned in my article for FilterCopy, girls who have an older brother, mastered the androgynous fashion pretty early in life. So why not, here's how you can play with androgyny-

POTD #19: North Meets South

So, recently, a cousin of mine, who's a Punjabi, tied the knot with the love of her life. He happens to be mallu. And I thought, what a lovely thing love is...it does not see caste, religion, nationality or race. Love does not see any of those differences. Love, only sees love.

I thought, why not celebrate this confluence of two cultures by dressing up, blending together the style sensibilities of both cultures. Now, since it was going to be a typical mallu wedding, I decided that I wear the traditional saree.

To bring in the Punjabi influence, I decided to tie up my hair into a rope braid (a favorite amongst most Punjabis I know). And the rest was just the cosmopolitan self kicking in.
